Ballet, Tap, Gymnastics

Let your little dancer shine in this super exciting combo class perfect for students who are new to dance. This class combines 20 minutes each of Ballet, Tap, and Gymnastics. This introduction to dance will be sure to captivate your young dancer's attention while learning basic dance steps to seasonally themed music.

Jazz

This energetic class combines stretching and jazz technique. Dancers will strive to master jazz progressions, turns, leaps, and center work. Dancers will be taught the importance of musicality and timing. Dancers will work on choreography which will be performed at the end of the year recital.

Tap

Dancers will love learning how to move their feet just like Fred Astaire and Savion Glover. Dancers will work on rhythm, basic music theory, and tap fundamentals like shuffles, flaps, pull backs, wings, and shiggy bops.

Ballet

Ballet is a type if performance dance that originated during the Italian Renaissance in the 15th century. Ballet is based on vocabulary and technique. Class combines stretching, barre exercise, and center technique work. Ballet is the perfect foundation for any dancer.

Contemporary, Lyrical

Contemporary and Lyrical classes combine the movement quality of jazz with the technical component of ballet. Contemporary and Lyrical is typically done to slower music. This generous allows dancers to combine steps in an artistic format.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop, originally a form of street dance, has now made it into the studio. Our classes combine a warm up, grooves, and center combinations. This powerful form of dance allows dancers to learn body isolations and coordination skills.

Modern

Modern dance is a specific style of dance that is free form and stems from the core, torso, of the body and uses elements like contractions, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation. Class is inspired by the works of Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, and Paul Taylor.
